Sharjah Waterfront City, also known as Ajmal Makan City, Sharjah Waterfront, is a 60 million sq ft city of eight islands, tidal canals and beaches on the Arabian Gulf at Al Hamriyah, Sharjah, developed by Ajmal Makan. It is reached from Al Ittihad Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road, about 5 minutes from Ajman and 22 minutes from Sharjah International Airport, with a water taxi to Dubai in 30 to 35 minutes.
